Brooklyn-born Dr. Eric Martinez was raised between New York and the Dominican Republic, where his path to medicine was shaped by resilience, cultural pride, and service. After completing his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, he pursued residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. There, he gained advanced expertise in neuromuscular evaluation, diagnosis, and comprehensive rehabilitation care.

Drawn to pain medicine by a desire to restore not only function but quality of life, Dr. Martinez continued his training with fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. His fellowship focuses on both adult and pediatric patients, providing specialized expertise in interventional procedures, neuromodulation, and multidisciplinary pain management.

With a dedication to compassionate and patient-centered care, Dr. Martinez combines innovative techniques such as fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided procedures with a holistic approach to healing. His clinical practice emphasizes helping patients feel seen, understood, and empowered on their path to recovery.
